All about drawing and painting
There are a few key things to keep in mind when painting like a pro. First, make sure to use high-quality paint and brushes. Second, always start with the light colors and work your way up to the darker colors. Third, be patient and take your time; it’s better to do a few thin coats of paint than one thick coat. And finally, always clean your brushes after each use so that they last longer.
We will be using M. Graham Walnut Oil Paints for this tutorial. It is important to use oil paints because they will allow you to create the translucent look that is essential for painting rain. Also, oil paints have a longer drying time than other types of paint, so you will have more time to work with them.
We will be using a variety of colors for this tutorial including white, black, blue, yellow, and light purple. We recommend Liquitex Professional Heavy Body Acrylic Classic Set. It includes a good selection of the colors we will be using and it is an excellent quality paint.
We will be using three colors of acrylic paint for this tutorial: white, green, and brown. You can use any brand of acrylic paint that you like. I am using craft acrylic paints from Arteza Acrylic Paint. It’s important to use acrylic paint for this project because it is water-based paint and will clean up easily with soap and water.
We will use the Arteza 9×12″ Sketch Book. It’s important you use thick paper so that the watercolors don’t bleed through. Its size is also large enough for us to fit the entire eye on the page.
We will be using a variety of colors for this project so that your rocks will be bright and colorful! To paint the rocks we like to use Apple Barrel Matte Acrylic Paint Set. This set comes with 18 2-ounce bottles of popular colors. These paints are perfect because they have a matte finish and they are easy to find at any local craft store. If you have other brands of paint that you prefer to use, that’s great! Just make sure they are acrylic paints.
