I was born and raised in California in a fairly strict and frugal Christian family. I have always been interested in combine non-traditional materials and objects that could become integrated into my work. Concern the gap between art and life can be seen as a statement of my life. As a result, I’m living in New York and dive in modern abstract expressionism.
I have graduated with a Master’s degree in Fine Arts at SF Art Institute and a member of the Oil Painters of America. I have studied under artists such as Patricia Jackson and Gary Herrington. I am also honored to have my paintings in private collections all around the world: USA, UK, Belgium, UAE, India, and Japan.
Since 2000 I have been a part of several projects, group and solo exhibitions, street art interventions and most of the most notorious projects. My work begins as an experiment with the possibilities of collage on a variety of surfaces or backgrounds. Essential to the work is its commanding scale and its relationship to the viewer.
This lets me make exhaustive product reviews to help you choose the right supply for true art.
